Description
NEW MK2 features:
- Built-in jumper slots for easier reassignment of digital I/O
- Selectable analog/digital I/O modes for analog pins
- Pre-assembled for ease-of-use
NOTES:
-VERIFY THAT YOUR SHIELD/HARDWARE AND CODE WILL WORK WITH THIS ADAPTER BEFORE USAGE!
-Teensy + Teensy headers are sold separately.
Important Warnings
- Do not exceed specified voltages or currents. Doing so may damage the board.
- This board assumes users have a basic understanding of circuits. Use it at your own risk.
Features
- Designed, built, and ships from the USA!
- 0.100” headers for easy prototyping and breadboarding.
- Fully compatible with most Arduino MEGA shields and hardware.
- Includes provisions for a 3V battery connection to support the Teensy’s RTC (Real-Time Clock) functionality.
- Designed for logic-level control (not for directly driving loads)
Specifications
- Supported Teensy Models:
- Teensy 4.1: 47 digital I/O, 8 analog/digital inputs.
- Voltage Compatibility:
- Power Input: 2.7V to 5.5V DC.
- Digital I/O: -0.5V to 5.5V DC.
- Analog I/O: 0V to 5.5V DC.
- Current Ratings:
- Maximum draw (5V supply): 950mA.
- Continuous output (per digital channel): 50mA.
- Total maximum output (5V side): 700mA
Usage Instructions
- Supports logic-level control only; do not drive loads directly.
- Pull-up/down resistors below 50kΩ may interfere with digital I/O functionality.
- Ensure an external 5V supply is used for Arduino hardware via the 5V pin, as the VIN pin is not connected.
Notes
- Verify the Teensy USB connector faces the correct direction during installation.
- Cut the power jumper under the Teensy module if not using USB power (refer to PJRC’s external power documentation).
